ThunderDome is an innovative new pro bono program in which volunteer attorneys handle their own case, but share the training and learning experience with a group. Through ThunderDome, attorneys with little or no legal experience are able to provide pro bono representation to clients and gain valuable skills. Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), one of CBF’s grantee organizations, developed ThunderDome and launched it with the help of the CBF and CARPLS, another CBF grantee.
